Whether you travelled for two hours and a bit (each way) to watch yesterday's triumph or managed to harness one of the live streams on the internet, Barnsley showed why this current vein of form is no fluke, taking the game by the scruff of the neck right from the off, demonstrating once again their frightening pace, V8 like work-rate and clinical finishing.
The fact that MK Dons boss Karl Robinson said he was "ecstatic" to have drawn Barnsley at home in the FA Cup fifth round really does show you just how far under-the-radar David Flitcroft's charges have been flying, when League 1 opposition fancy their chances. But equally, the media say it all by relegating the Oakwell outfit's performances to the distant borders of their coverage, their time and their attention at every opportunity. SHAME ON YOU ALL!
Which member of the Look North team do you think will be washing their red and white scarf for the upcoming tie? The production team will have already booked Dickie and Parky for a bit of camera time. Be ready for the tv news and radio crews popping up in a local near you soon!
Que sera sera, whatever will be, will be ....
Of course, the FA Cup tie at the Etihad will be a great day out for those travelling fans who may be lucky enough to get one of the anticipated 6,000 tickets. But the championship is our future and creates a platform for many more days like this in the future. Personally, I just hope that those fans who have stayed away this season, for whatever reason, get behind the team at Oakwell for our remaining championship fixtures, starting on Tuesday night versus Wolves.

Has the Reds' recent form cleared away any ill feeling from the Hill era or are certain fans still cynical? Should season ticket holders receive one ticket each or more for the upcoming FA Cup clash with City? Thanks for reading. I've solved it - why not get a big screen at Oakwell, a 'beam back' for those who can't get tickets??? reight idea @bfc_official— Whitey (@Andy__White) February 17, 2013
Its all about Tuesday night. Show your support! #BarnsleyFC— Dean Hanwell (@deanored85) February 17, 2013
@bfc_official After the draw, any chance of making a Wolves stub count for something ticket wise for the QF? Might help attract a few ppl.— Allen Cooper (@Al_Cooper7) February 17, 2013
Some people needs to realize we can be fans without going to every game... Doesn't make us less of a fan... So pipe down #BarnsleyFC— Debs Balme (@debsbalme) February 17, 2013
