It's simply depressing. The dark clouds are gathering around Oakwell once more. Barnsley FC Supporters have had to stomach defeat yet again in the league at home. Making it a dismal four occasions already this season, having played just five League One fixtures there.
Lacking any league victory since 23 August, Oakwell attendances are dwindling, recording our lowest gate since November 2012 versus Swindon Town in our most recent encounter.
Being competitive in League One and having a "strong squad to give the supporters a winning feeling" is one superlative statement given by Ben Mansford. Should we therefore assume that we have the right resources at our disposal, but lack the kind of leadership needed to galvanise this group in to a competitive outfit?
Followers of the Reds in the 'Twittersphere' are certainly nervous.
Anyone who witnessed our latest capitulation would be equally alarmed. The starting eleven and formation chosen by DW failed to excite the home fans. Should you have been expecting the seemingly mythical pace and power possessed by this lot, it was glaringly absent on this occasion to the extreme.
In a move to placate the latest potential commercial sponsors, with rumours circulating that Oakwell is set to be renamed the "Tubbytronic Superdome", even the late cameos made by Tinky Winky and Dispy failed to ignite any kind of fight back. Say "Eh Oh!" to Saturday afternoon misery once again!

I think they are trying there best, Mr Cryne has put his own money in, Mansford is bringing us into this digital era and Wilson needs time to see what formula he needs, Remember it took him 3 years last time, BFC are not a club which replaces managers easily and we should be proud of that given whATS HAPPENING AT OTHER CLUBS....LEEDS UNTD !!
please stick with them go to matches then they can use the money to hopefully get things right, dont go and it will cost us all....
Brand new team, experienced leader who knows this level. Will Utd sack Van Gaal or allow him to rebuild, they had one poor season and need to regroup. We reds have had several under mediocre managers. Give DW time. Fans that expected top 6 finish need to look at what is happening, longer contracts, younger players, less loan signings, less 1 year deals. We need to get behind the club, rebuild and all will be well

We replaced (rather easily) a young manager trying to change the culture of the club from top to bottom, who's team would have gone down, but at least lost trying to play football.
I understand he's doing rather well at his new club.
When everyone wanted him gone I said 'be careful what you wish for'.
Mr Wilson starting to get it right....

Fair comment "Anonymous". Personally I've never advocated that Wilson should be sacked, but have merely stoked the debate regarding what was a faltering period for the Reds with apathetic performances from certain players. Not surprisingly, those players don't seem to be gracing Oakwell of late.
